Our modern facility has been fitted out with only the best equipment.

Chemical stripping

For the most stubborn coatings we have a paint and powder chemical strip tank complete with hot water rinse. This process can remove a wide range of existing powder coated and painted finishes from alloy or steel wheels quickly and safely.

Blast cleaning cabinet:

The Ventus range of pressure cabinets from Vacublast is probably one of the best cabinets money can buy. Our cabinet is fitted with a high-powered dust collector and media cyclone separator. This ensures that when blasting is in process dust and debris is continually removed from the media, only allowing clean reusable media to be used.

Kerb damage removed:

Once the existing coating has been removed and the alloy wheel has been completely stripped we concentrate on removing unsightly kerb damage. This is carried out either manually or automatically on a purpose-designed machine.

Powder coat:

The Gema Optiflex B is the best and most popular powder coating gun used within the powder coating industry. It is extremely important that the finish we get on the alloy wheel is smooth and consistent with excellent powder distribution.
With so many complicated shapes and designs on alloy wheels it is important to have various settings within the powder coating gun to allow the operator to get the right finish every time.

We have a selection of colours available and all our powders are purchased from Dupont to guarantee the finish and durability.
The final coat applied to the wheel is a Dupont powder lacquer. This final top coat is applied to the face and rear of the wheel. Not only does this lacquered finish give a deep lustre shine to the alloy, it also minimises brake dust adhesion.

Tyre changer:

The Hoffmann Megamount 701 DLX is the flagship model of the Hoffmann range of tyre changers. Featuring a patented interchangeable fitting head system with 4 different heads for varying applications (standard, low profile, raised spoke and plastic), it is designed to handle the new generation of tyres including low profile and run flat tyres up to 26” diameter, thus ensuring that we do not damage the alloy wheel when refitting the tyres.

Wheel balancer:

The Hoffmann Megaspin 400. This model is designed for those customers for whom only the best will do. The automatic sensor takes all dimensions automatically. Rim diameter up to 26”, weights fitted to the rear of the wheel and the facility to be able to offer behind the spoke balancing.
